    • Why do I need help planning my pre-wedding events?

      • Many couples don’t realize all of the events that lead up to the wedding until they get engaged. All of these events take an incredible amount of time and energy to plan. Often, the planning responsibilities will fall on family members or friends, which can cause tension in their relationships. Your engagement season should be a fun, exciting and memorable time for everyone. Let Before the Vows plan all of these pre-wedding events & coordinate/plan your big day so you and your loved ones can enjoy your engagement season stress-free!

    • What happens after I fill out the contact form?

      • After you fill out the contact form, we will get back to you within 24-48 business hours. From there, we will set up a complimentary 30-minute consultation where we will learn more about you and your vision for your wedding or event. If you decide to book with us, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit to secure your date. After that, the planning will begin!

    • How does payment work?

      • The prices outlined on our contract are the planning/coordination fees for the event. These do not include the cost of the venue, catering, decor, etc. Upon signing of the contract, we will send you an invoice and process your payment through a secure third-party payment site. 50% of the planning fee is due upon acceptance of the job and a signed contract. The other 50% is due one month prior to your event.

    • How far in advance should I book with you?

      • As soon as possible! We book an average of one year out, and our dates are first come, first serve. Each lead planner only takes on a limited number of weddings at a time to ensure each client receives the support and encouragement they need.

    • Do you plan events for all types of couples?

      • Yes! Before the Vows proudly welcomes and supports all couples. Everyone is welcome here!

    • Why should I hire you over other event planners?

      • There are many wedding and event planners out there for you to choose from, but there are numerous things that set our team apart from others. At Before the Vows, our goal is to ensure that each of our couples feels heard, celebrated, and loved throughout the engagement period. Your wedding is not just “another event” to us but a once in a lifetime celebration that deserves the utmost attention and care.

    • How do I know month-of coordination is for me?

      • Our Month-of Coordination package is perfect for the couple who feels comfortable and confident planning their wedding, but are looking for professionals to finalize the details, manage logistics, and oversee vendor communication during the crucial final two months before the wedding.

    • Does this package include a rehearsal walkthrough?

      • Yes! We’ll be there to guide you and your wedding party through the rehearsal. We always allot one hour for the walkthrough the day before your wedding, either at your venue (if available) or at a secondary location. Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and confident for the big day!

    • How many coordinators will there be on my wedding day?

      • Your lead coordinator will be with you all day, and we typically provide one team member per 50 guests. Depending on your guest count, we’ll make sure we have the right size team in place to keep your day running smoothly!

    • Why don’t you offer day-of coordination?

      • There is no such thing as a true "day-of coordination." It takes most couples a year or more to plan their wedding day. In order to ensure your day is seamless and stress-free, our team needs more than a couple of weeks to fully learn and digest the plan for your wedding. There are so many details that go into a wedding day, which is why we offer Month-of Coordination to guarantee that everyone is on the same page (family, vendors, wedding party, etc.) and to make sure no detail slips through the cracks.

    • What wedding planning software do you use?

      • We use Aisle Planner! It’s a one-stop shop that includes a full wedding planning checklist, budget manager, a design studio, vendor contact organization,  and a place to store all of your vendor contracts and invoices, and much more. This program allows everyone who is a part of the planning process to collaborate and helps keep us on track throughout the engagement period.

    • What topics do we cover in our monthly planning meetings?

      • Our meetings follow a structured workflow to guide you through the planning process. We start by prioritizing vendor bookings, then move into the design process, and finally focus on timeline creation, final details, and logistics to ensure a seamless wedding day.

    • Are design services included?

      • Yes! Our Lead Designer creates a custom design proposal with three rounds of edits. The final product serves as a blueprint for your wedding day, ensuring every detail aligns with your vision.
