Hunter Museum Wedding Reception | Lauren + Mead

We had the honor and privilege of coordinating Lauren and Mead’s wedding reception at The Hunter Museum, a celebration that perfectly blended timeless elegance with modern sophistication. With stunning views of the Tennessee River and a flawless design, their reception was a lively and fun affair that perfectly captured the couple’s vision.

Cocktail Hour
Guests mingled, enjoying craft cocktails and passed appetizers, while taking in the scenic views of the Tennessee River and the Chattanooga Pedestrian Bridge in the background, all from The Hunter Museum’s stunning 24-Hour Terrace.

Details
From the elegant floral arrangements to the trendy drapery, every detail of the reception was thoughtfully curated. From the moment guests entered the museum they traveled through the “tunnel of love” and were greeted by the band playing sweet tunes in front of the black and white checkered dance floor. The large array of seating options (standard tables, cocktail tables and soft seating areas) created a more fun and laid-back environment for Lauren and Mead’s guests. This atmosphere was further elevated by gold accents and soft, ambient lighting.

Grand Entrance/First Dance
The newlyweds made their entrance down the grand staircase to cheers and applause from their biggest fans. Then made their way to the checkered dance floor in the auditorium for their first dance as a married couple.
